Submersible Drone Carrier
This is a concept for a submersible drone carrier, designed as an answer to aircraft carrier vulnerability to modern anti-ship missiles. This carrier can accommodate UCAV (unmanned combat aircraft vehicles).
Without manned aircrafts this ship should be smaller and cheaper, needing less crew. The submarine itself will not reach great depths, keeping the ship watertight is difficult with huge deck elevators. Neither masts nor periscopes are visible.... this could be a problem, I envision a smaller companion ship fitted with all this and anti-aircraft systems.
